Ineffability

“There is something pagan in me that I cannot shake off. In short, I deny nothing, but doubt everything.” (Lord Byron)

No matter how much I desire to pretend
The ineffability of this tormenting sorrow
I know, it was bequeathed to me from a no-end-
Cycle of genes poured in various scenes,                                                                                                                                                Integer or hollow.
